The Base The Base is a registered business name of Beacon Studios: 206186 |
LATEST NEWS:
In September 2001, Beacon had a baby and named it THE BASE. Situated at 45 Fitzwilliam Square West, one of Dublin's finest Georgian squares, The Base has its parent’s skill and good looks. It’s a very cosy studio set-up, operating on Pro Tools. The Base has the same philosophy as Beacon - people! Chief person, Mark ‘Jo’burg’ Duff, ably assisted by Emer Sands, looks after knob twiddling and fader pushing. Enter The Base’s ample reception area, with its original granite fireplace, and the delicate aroma of napalm greets you - no, actually that's the fresh coffee. (If you do smell napalm, just ask Mark to turn off the Wagner, he can be a bit strange at times). In the studio you’ll find an abundance of talent, chocolates, magazines and organic fruit. All this is yours until we throw you out.
